The CO Show is finally back after a break!

DJ Josh and DJ Clay are finally back on norsecoderadio.com after 2 weeks off!  We had a great time at our CO Show event down at the USS Nightmare with fellow DJ Emma M from Hello Humpday and others.  Last week we were unable to have the show because DJ Clay was in Chicago at the CMA (College Media Association) conference.  But we’re back now and that’s all that matters!  Be sure to tune in every Wednesday for your dose of improv news and comedy from your favorite DJ’s, don’t worry we won’t tell the others!  MEETING WORD COUNT QUOTA NOW!!!   !

Election Day!

Vote!Vote!Vote!Vote!Happy Election Day! I hope everyone voted and cast educated votes. Anyone can be swayed by political ads and racism. I hope you made a good decision based on facts. That said, by the time my show airs tomorrow, we will know the winner of this year’s election, whether it be Obama or Romney. Emma’s Dilemma tomorrow is: how are you going to cope if your candidate didn’t win. Will you throw a hissy fit? Will you claim its a conspiracy? Move to Canada? Or will you be an adult and shrug it off? Tweet me your reaction to the election results @hellohumpday! Be sure to like the show’s facebook page (HelloHumpDay) and that of NorseCodeRadio! Thank you for listening!

Stefan’s pre-Propaghadi blog post

This Saturday, I’m going to go see  crossover band Propaghandi at the Madison Theater. Any kind of underground punk is always a lot of fun to go see, and I’m looking forward to it. I’ve actually only been to one show at the Madison. Most of the shows I’ve been to here have been at the Southgate House, which just recently closed earlier this year. I miss it sorely.
That being said, the Madison is a nice venue. I saw the Heartless Bastards there earlier this year with Don and Pat (Sound of Punk host, if you remember). It was a fun show a lot of really nice people. According to Pat, who’d seen NOFX there, the pit there can get intense. The Bastards aren’t exactly a pit-type band, so I didn’t get to experience a Madison pit. That being said, Propgaghandi most certainly is, and being an avid slam-dancer, I’m really looking forward to it.

Hello Hump Day!

Halloween is upon us, and what better to celebrate the holiday with than a new radio show! Hello Hump Day with Dj Emma M (that’s me) starts Wednesday, October 31 at nine pm. Based around alternative music, Hello Hump Day will feature music ranging from Bring Me The Horizon to Barenaked Ladies, from Streetlight Manifesto to System of a Down.  Every week I’ll try to have a dilemma to discuss between songs (get it? Emma’s dilemma. It rhymes). While we could tackle global problems and discuss tragedies, we’re going to focus on “first world problems,” the shallow stuff that affects our daily life. Tweet me during the show to give me your input and be sure to like the Facebook page!

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t like doing blogs, have i mentioned that? This past weekend was interesting. Found an amazing sushi bar and hibachi grill place in Florence, it’s a fairly new restaurant I assumed, and the best part about it, was that when the Asian hostess sat my friend and I down, we weren’t treated like we were stupid fat Americans, the staff was actually nice there, which is more than many could say about their Asian cuisine restaurants!!

So now I’m just filling up space to meet the required word count for a blog. Currently at 96, need 100. I like pancakes! Blah
